YHARS Case Worker
Ray Chan-Tung is a dedicated YHARS Case Worker at Queensland Youth Services, specialising in trauma-informed support for vulnerable young people and families. With a strong foundation in relational neuroscience, cultural safety, and lived experience, Ray effectively engages youth to affirm their identity and foster belonging.
Experienced in frontline mentorship and team leadership, he supports multidisciplinary teams by modeling culturally responsive, reflective practice. Ray creates safe and empowering environments that promote emotional regulation, education, training, and community participation. His collaborative approach with families, Elders, and community services ensures holistic, child-centered support, driving meaningful outcomes and strengthening pathways for youth engagement and wellbeing.

Adriel is a Member of the National Mental Health Commission. He has a wealth of experience from around North Queensland and Western Australia, and has an active passion for suicide prevention, following careers in Project Management for the Townsville Suicide Prevention Network, Education, Residential Care and consultation work for the Not- for-Profit sector.
Pat is an experienced Engineering Manager with a Bachelor of Engineering and currently completing a Masters in Urban Planning and Design. He is Treasurer of Queensland Youth Services Inc and Deputy Chair of Good Shepherd Home Council. Pat has strong governance and business systems knowledge, backed by master’s level study. A founder of two NFPs, DECAMAG Inc and Drive It NQ Limited, he has developed driver education and motorsport facilities in Townsville. He was runner-up for North QLD Volunteer of the Year 2023.
After 8 years in travel management, Natalie moved to the community services sector taking up roles in marketing and business development in Townsville. Eager to raise the profiles of not-for-profit organisations and women-led small businesses in the region, Natalie started her own business as a copywriter and brand strategist in 2020.
Since October 2024, Natalie has worked at North Queensland Women’s Legal Service as marketing and communications coordinator, while still freelancing. Natalie joined the board as secretary in 2023 and holds a diploma of management.
Pania Brown is the CEO of Queensland Youth Services, bringing over 20 years of senior leadership in community services, aged care, disability, and youth sectors. She specialises in transformational leadership, strategic planning, governance, fiscal management, and stakeholder engagement.
Pania has successfully managed major sector reforms and multimillion-dollar contracts, including the transition of First Nations aged care facilities. Committed to evidence-based, culturally responsive programs, she leads QYS in supporting vulnerable youth across Queensland. Pania’s visionary leadership promotes collaboration, advocacy, and capacity building, empowering teams to deliver impactful services that enhance the wellbeing and resilience of young people and communities.

Christina Rich is an experienced Finance and HR Officer at Queensland Youth Services, bringing over 18 years of expertise in allied healthcare and the not-for-profit sector. She is highly skilled in payroll systems (Xero, MYOB, Employment Hero), financial management, and administrative support.
Christina excels in payroll processing, compliance, recruitment assistance, and financial reporting. Known for her enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail, she consistently supports organisational efficiency and staff wellbeing. Jo Jarusarn is a skilled Operations Officer at Queensland Youth Services, bringing over 7 years of experience in business analysis, IT support, and the non-profit sector. With expertise in operations and project management, social media, ICT business analysis, event coordination, digital marketing, and HR systems.
Jo consistently drives organisational efficiency and growth. Jennifer is a dedicated Quality & Compliance Officer at Queensland Youth Services with extensive experience in quality management, auditing, and document control. She excels in team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with industry standards. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and many other industry specific programs.
Jennifer develops and maintains quality systems, supports employee onboarding, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. With a background in business administration, Quality and Compliance and Service Delivery, she brings strong organisational and communication skills to her role. Passionate about community engagement and project coordination, Jennifer is committed to fostering high standards and effective service delivery for the benefit of clients and teams alike.
Connection and Inclusion Mentor
Robert Jackway is a dedicated Connection and Inclusion Mentor at Queensland Youth Services, with extensive experience in team coordination, budget management, and risk mitigation. He currently serves as Director at Mithangkaya Nguli Indigenous Corporation and Manager at Cultural Connections Queensland, where he develops policies and mentors teams. Skilled in youth engagement and compliance auditing, Robert has a strong background in organising impactful community events and delivering trauma-informed care, demonstrating leadership in diverse organisational settings.
Clynt Connor is the Flexible Learning & Pathways Lead for Strength 2 Strength at Queensland Youth Services. He is passionate about creating culturally safe, trauma-informed learning environments that empower disengaged youth, especially those in the youth justice system.
Clynt has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, co-designing alternative education frameworks, and building strong community partnerships. He is completing a Certificate IV in Youth and Family Intervention and is an Accredited Crisis Intervention Facilitator. Drawing on his lived experience growing up in care and facing socio-economic challenges, Clynt leads with integrity and empathy to support sustainable, learner-centered pathways for youth success.
YPP Team Leader
Corrie Segboer is the Young Parents Program Team Leader at Queensland Youth Services and has been with the organisation for 9 years. Completing her Bachelor of Social Work at James Cook University in 2021, she is passionate about social justice, inclusion, and supporting youth as future leaders.
Corrie brings strong skills in crisis support, active listening, and strengths-based approaches, gained through her previous role with Lifeline. Her involvement with the Townsville Folk Festival highlights her community spirit. Known for her compassionate, respectful guidance, she is dedicated to empowering young families with practical support and fostering a sense of community and resilience for lasting positive outcomes.
Zoe De Satge is the Reconnect Team Leader at Queensland Youth Services and holds a Bachelor of Human Services (Child and Family Welfare) from the University of Southern Queensland. She brings extensive experience in youth support, case management, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with particular expertise in care planning, positive behaviour support, and community engagement.
Zoe is highly skilled in therapeutic crisis intervention, mediation, and conflict resolution, and is a strong advocate for vulnerable young people and families in achieving sustainable, positive outcomes. Her leadership across supported independent living and youth services is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice, empowering young people to realise their potential and build stronger futures.
Bobby Tilbrooke is the LearnIT Team Leader at Queensland Youth Services, with extensive experience in program coordination, staff development, and stakeholder engagement. He is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals to overcome barriers, build independence, and achieve positive life outcomes. Bobby’s leadership spans across managing large teams, developing employment and training programs and fostering strong community partnerships across Queensland.

Priscilla Lane is the YHARS Team Leader at Queensland Youth Services, based in Townsville and oversees Mount Isa. With over 17+ Years extensive experience in social services, Priscilla is skilled in case management, trauma-informed practice, and leadership within youth justice and community programs. She holds multiple certifications, including Certificate IV in Employment Services, Diploma in Social Services, Diploma in Management and Leadership and Cert IV training in Alcohol and Other drugs.
Known for her strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage Complex Cases, Priscilla liaises effectively with stakeholders including child protection, police, and legal representatives. Cassy Hinds is the YHARS Program Administration Officer at Queensland Youth Services. Geoff Cameron is the SQW Program Coordinator at Queensland Youth Services, based in Townsville, QLD. A former NRL player with the Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, and international representative for Samoa, Matthew has successfully transitioned his passion for mentorship into community services. His elite sports career instilled exceptional discipline, resilience, and connection skills with young people facing challenges.
Currently a YHARS Case Worker while playing semi-professionally with the Townsville Blackhawks, Matthew holds a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. His understanding of dedication and overcoming adversity makes him a powerful role model for at-risk youth.
Mt Isa Case worker
Tina Roughsey is a Case Worker at Queensland Youth Services in Mount Isa, QLD. Born on Mornington Island and of Lardil and Waanyi descent, Tina has extensive experience working within Gulf communities, including Doomadgee, addressing social issues impacting Indigenous youth and families. She supports students through behaviour management, liaises with families, and assists with school and community activities.
Tina has worked in various roles including domestic violence support and cultural liaison, demonstrating strong communication skills and cultural knowledge. Jillian Sim brings over 20 years of experience supporting the health and wellbeing of the Townsville community. She holds a Social Work degree and is an accredited EFT practitioner, with expertise in disability, aged care, and youth services.
Jillian’s compassionate, professional approach helps young people feel supported and understood. Passionate about early intervention, she is committed to empowering youth for a brighter future. As a valuable member of the QYS team, Jillian works across multiple areas to ensure every individual receives the guidance and care they deserve, making a meaningful difference in the community.
YHARS Senior Case worker
James O’Hagan brings nearly 10 years of experience in youth housing and reintegration services, with a strong background in youth justice and supporting young people on Youth Justice orders. He has worked extensively with young people at risk across remote and regional communities, delivering targeted programs, activities, and mentoring that promote positive outcomes and long‑term change.
James is committed to culturally informed practice and meaningful stakeholder engagement. An Aboriginal and South Sea Islander man raised in the Burdekin District, he holds deep personal knowledge and lived experience of Indigenous community issues. He has tribal connections to the Yuwibara people of the Mackay District, grounding his work in cultural identity, community connection, and respect.
Early Intervention Worker
Max Riley is a dedicated Reconnect Case Worker committed to supporting young people through life’s challenges. With experience in youth work, Max has worked extensively at Mission Australia’s Townsville Youth Foyer, providing tailored support to vulnerable young adults. His background includes roles as a Teacher Aide in specialised education settings and involvement in community-based youth programs. Having completed his Diploma of Youth Work, Max will be looking to better his skillset with further study in the sector this year. Max is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where young people can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. He excels in advocacy, mentoring, and building trusting relationships, driven by a strong belief in individualised care. Max is currently pursuing a Diploma of Youth Work to deepen his expertise and impact in youth support services.
YPP Assistant
Kerryanne Voivoi is a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker who has completed her Certificate IV in Youth Work at TAFE QLD and is currently furthering her studies in Social Work at university. With practical experience mentoring and supporting young people across educational and community settings, she excels at building genuine rapport and fostering safe, inclusive environments where youth feel valued. Kerryanne’s strong skills in communication, teamwork, and program coordination have been developed through diverse roles in student mentoring, volunteer initiatives, and frontline work. Holding a Blue Card, police check, and NDIS accreditation, she is deeply committed to empowering young people to achieve their full potential with empathy, reliability, and professionalism. Kerryanne currently contributes as a Young Parents Program Assistant at Queensland Youth Services.
Connection and Inclusion Mentor
Tiarni Ivan is the Connection and Inclusion Mentor for the Strength to Strength Program at Queensland Youth Services in Townsville, QLD. With a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a strong passion for supporting young people, Tiarni is committed to creating inclusive, culturally safe, and trauma-informed environments that empower youth to thrive. She brings experience working with young people engaged with the youth justice system to reduce the risk of reoffending and support them in reaching their potential.
Tiarni has also worked with disengaged youth to re-engage in education and community opportunities, and collaborated with families to strengthen support networks. With strong communication and advocacy skills, Tiarni is dedicated to fostering positive pathways and sustainable outcomes for young people.
